With the Euro 2016 tournament about to come to a close, fans will miss the many great plays and intense matches throughout the tournament. Another critical piece to Euro 2016 is the players themselves, as the tournament features the largest names in international soccer like Ronaldo and Bale.

However, there is a surprising club team that sent high representation to the Euros, London’s Crystal Palace. According to Kicktv, Bayern Munich was the most represented club in the Euros as far as players are concerned with eight players. In second though is Crystal Palace with a total of five players.

Most of the players that are part of Crystal Palace’s squad comes from the Welsh National Team. Players such as the tough midfielder Joe Ledley and Goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey are key to the defense of both Crystal Palace and Wales. Also for Wales is Jonathan Williams who plays at midfield as well.  Other members of the Crystal Palace side are Yohan Cabaye and Steve Mandanda representing France at the Euros.

Crystal Palace are to play the Union on July 13th at Talen Energy Stadium; Crystal Palace, despite having a presence at the Euros, are also fresh off of making it to the FA Cup Final where they lost to Manchester United.  Crystal Palace have only been in the Premier League four years but have managed to stay ahead and keep themselves in the mid to high table range in the Premier League and are looking to get to the top.

So a very good and very solid Crystal Palace side and with a good Union side who are getting solid victories and sitting high up in the East. Even though it is a friendly, it is bound to be an exciting and intense match filled with good talent.
