In what was as a near must-win, the Eagles came away with a clutch 34-27 win in Green Bay against the Packers. After the big victory, the Eagles are set to make a climb back into the top 10 in this week’s power rankings.

In total, there are 13 teams sitting at 2-2 following the first four weeks of the season. Along with that, we are now down to just two undefeated teams remaining in the NFL. For a lot of teams, with the first quarter of the season serving as a dress rehearsal following watered-down preseason play, they are set to finally hit their stride.

Week 4 also brought more history for a few noteworthy players. Here are a few:

With another week now arriving, there will be more teams hitting their bye week. This week, the Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins will have their bye week, while the New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers will return from their bye.

Why The Eagles Are Ranked Where They Are

The Eagles are clustered in a packed group across the league that has a 2-2 record, but after an impressive win in Green Bay combined with a talented roster that’s getting healthier by the day, they are now ranked in the top 10.

At their best, the Eagles are one of the toughest teams in the NFL to beat, and they showed that Thursday night. However, one of the reasons they’re 2-2 and not ranked in the top 5 is because of a lack of consistency. If the Eagles are able to get some of their key players back, such as DeSean Jackson, and put out a product week in and week out that plays at a high level, they will continue to rise in the ranks in no time.

With that being said, the Eagles have some work to do to rise towards the top of the NFC — the Saints will be getting Drew Brees back soon, and are still winning games, and the Seahawks are looking much-improved following the offseason acquisition of Jadeveon Clowney.

One way the Eagles can improve is, of course, via trade. The trade deadline is less than a month away and the Eagles have been linked to some of the biggest names on the market, including Jalen Ramsey and Chris Harris Jr. If the Eagles hope to become the best team in their conference, they need secondary help, and Ramsey or Harris Jr would be a tremendous step towards doing so.

The Eagles should have an easy opportunity next week to keep the good times rolling when the New York Jets come to town, and while a win Sunday wouldn’t be the most notable, it would be another step in the right direction towards finding consistency.
