Both Jalen Hurts and Carson Wentz will not wear the same jersey numbers as they did last season.
After being traded to the Indianapolis Colts, Wentz will now wear the No. 2 since the No. 11 was already taken by second-year wide receiver Michael Pittman.
“I’m excited about a fresh start. No. 2 is really in the back of my mind, back of my heart, what I always wanted to be, so we’re excited,” Wentz said. “Hopefully, people think I look good in 2; if not, who cares, my wife does. So that’s all that matters.”

The most notable change on the list would have to be Hurts; however, he is not a stranger to wearing the No. 1.
At the University of Alabama, Hurts dawned the deuce on his back for his first three seasons of his collegiate career.
After transferring to the University of Oklahoma, Hurts changed his jersey to No.1 and had his best statistical season to date, posting up 3,851 passing yards and 52 total touchdowns, 20 of which came courtesy of Hurts’ legs.
We all know the saying, “If you look good, you play good“…hopefully, this is the case for the Birds’ new QB1.
