As the NFL season comes to an end, the next big thing everyone looks forward to is the beginning of free agency. With the Eagles financially able to participate in the big part of free agency this year, let’s take a look at three free agents that would fit in well and immediately help the team.

Chris Godwin: The Eagles need to add a serious receiving threat along side DeVonta smith in order to be able to compete with the other high-power offenses of the NFL. Godwin Will only be 26 at the start of next season, so the Eagles should look to add him on a three to four year deal. He’s coming off his best season with 98 receptions, 1103 yards, and 5 touchdowns in 14 games. Adding him would immediately bolster the Eagles receiving core and the offense as a whole.

Marcus Williams: Williams can come in and make an impact in the secondary assuming Anthony Harris won’t be back. Williams is only 25 so he’d be a good long term fit on the team. With a defensive coordinator like Gannon, who DB’s love, Willams could become a huge role on the Eagles defense. He’s coming off a year with 52 solo tackles, and 74 total tackles, 1 forced fumble, and 2 interceptions. The young free safety could help solidify the Eagles backend on defense and help to produce more turnovers making him a key free agent to keep an eye on.

Haason Reddick: It’s Clear the Eagles need help at linebacker, so looking to add one in free agency should be a priority. Haason Reddick would be a huge signing for the Eagles. He has seven forced fumbles in the last two seasons, and this season he logged 11 sacks, 37 solo tackles, and 68 total tackles. He could be a nice compliment to Josh Sweat and Brandon Graham making the Eagles pass rush even better. If the Eagles want to upgrade their defense, they should look to sign someone like Reddick.

Free agency is right around the corner, and with the Eagles in good position to make offers to top tier free agents, these guys should be on everyones radars.
