“I’ve been passionate about improving people’s lives with fitness and martial arts for the past 30 years, and it’s time for me to create a full-time spot where I can make all that happen for fitness-focused Philadelph
“This isn’t just a gym where people take a boxing or fitness class. We’re bringing all the best parts of a handful of boutique fitness studios under one roof, and we’re moving toward all-day access so folks can train even outside of class times. We’re going to make a real difference for Philadelphians looking to improve their daily lives.”
Pogue has an extensive background in both fitness training and martial arts. His strength, diet, and overall fitness clientele range from fitness novices to professional athletes, and he has had clients featured in Muscle and Fitness magazine on several occasions. Pogue’s experience led to him being selected as a diet counselor for a U.S. Dept. of Defense-sponsored weight-loss study for active military members and their families.
In addition to his fitness background, Randall is also a lifelong martial artist and two-time professional world kickboxing champion, with ring experience that includes well over 40 professional bouts in kickboxing, boxing, and mixed martial arts (MMA). Randall has competed in events for Showtime, HBO, ESPN, Versus, and MSG Network and has had the honor of representing the USA internationally, including bouts in Ukraine, France, Italy, and Kazakhstan.
Some of his achievements include USKBA Pro Light-Heavyweight World Kickboxing Champion, ISKA Pro Super-Middleweight World Kickboxing Champion, IKF Pro Super-Middleweight U.S. Kickboxing Champion, FFKA Pro Jr. Middleweight U.S. Kickboxing Champion, and K.I.C.K. Pro Middleweight East Coast Kickboxing Champion.
While he is extremely proud of his own accomplishments, Randall takes even greater pride in the success of his clients and students. These client achievements include 2003 NPC Junior USA Fitness Championships first place, 2013 GA State Golden Gloves Champion, 2013 Georgia Games Champion, 2013 Georgia USA Boxing State Champion, and for kickboxing, 2003 IKF USA Middleweight Champion, 2003 IKF North American Champion, 2004 USKA World Champion, 2005 WKA North American Champion, and 2012 TBA Muay Thai Classic Champion, among many others.
“I’ve definitely been blessed with the range of experiences and achievements I’ve had over the years, and now I’m doing my best to share what I’ve learned with folks back here in Philly,” said Pogue.
“Opening my own fitness brand is certainly exciting, but the ‘Make Yourself Better’ tagline is more than just words on a sign. There’s a real opportunity to help people make meaningful changes in their lives with this space. Whether you want to shed weight, gain muscle, learn effective fight skills, or even if you aren’t sure what the path is to increasing your confidence and seeing what your body is capable of, we have the tools to get you to your goals.”
