Following an outstanding 6-0 victory against the Colorado Rapids on Saturday night, the Union once again displayed magnificent chemistry. Philadelphia has not lost at Subaru Park so far this season and in typical fashion demolished another team at home. The Union have a vision to be crowned the MLS champions by the end of the season.

Union Continue to Steamroll Opponents

This season has been quite impressive for the Philadelphia Union as they have a record of 15-9-4 and sit in 1st place of the Eastern Conference.

A huge part of their success has come from home-field advantage at Subaru Park. In fact, they are the only team to remain unbeaten at home this season.

While their play at home has been stellar all season the same can’t be said for the Union on the road; however, some of the Union’s biggest victories have been away matchups.

More history was made by the squad when they earned the record for most wins by six or more goals by any team (four wins). What is even more surprising is that all four wins have come in the last 10 games.

This surge by the Union has made them a force to be reckoned with the playoffs right around the corner.

If one thing is for certain, the Boys in Blue are making noise in Philadelphia and have one of the best fanbases in the nation.

High Expectations!

Clearly, the Union have been one of the most dominant teams in MLS this season. There is also a case to be made for Philadelphia having the best lineup in the league.

The Union defense speaks for itself as they shut down opponents left and right led by star goalkeeper, Andre Blake.

To compliment the lights out defense, the Union’s front 3 has been just as impactful throughout the season.

And credit must be given to the bench who have provided solid depth and have stepped up when needed on the pitch.

All in all, this squad has potential to bring home the first MLS Cup to Philadelphia. This has been a historic season for the Union, but it would be the cherry on top to win the championship and silence the doubters.
