As we head full steam ahead to October, the Phillies are in a prime position to be one of the Wildcard teams from the National League.
The 2022 season has been anything but a banner year for the team with several ups and downs.
Early season struggles saw the Phils part way with former manager Joe Girardi, and then an injury to the reigning MVP Bryce Harper seemed like the nail in the coffin for the 2022 team. But with solidng second half, and the return of Harper, the Phillies prove that baseball is a marathon, not a sprint.
Bryce Harper has made a significant impact on the organization already until this point and if his Phillies career continues this way he may go down as an All-Time great. Another Phillies all-time great was Richie Ashburn, who played with the Phillies over the course of 12 seasons from 1948 – 1959. During that time, Ashburn made 4 All-Star appearances, highlighted by his 1958 season where he led the National League in batting average to the tune of a .350 average. In an era of superstars, Richie Ashburn stood out as one of the best.
FOCO just released a Then and Now Bobblehead featuring Bryce Harper and Richie Ashburn that depicts both superstar players in action poses atop a Phillies stadium-themed base.
On the left stands Ashburn in the retro Phillies uniform in black and white and on the left is Harper, in color, wearing the team’s current iteration of the uniform. The bobblehead is limited to 422 units, stands at 5in tall, and retails for $80.
The Then and Now collection has quickly become one of the hottest collectibles of the year with FOCO releasing several MLB ones and plenty of NFL ones to come throughout the season.
While all FOCO bobbleheads are great collectibles, these in particular have higher value with the two stars from two different eras.
Head over to FOCO.com now to preorder your Bryce Harper and Richie Ashburn Philadelphia Phillies Then and Now Bobblehead.
