Sunday could be the Eagles’ most demanding test as the 2-1 Jaguars come to Philly in an early season showdown between two first-place teams. Doug Pederson will be making his return to Philly and he has the Jaguars clicking right now. Before the season this game looked like an easy win. That is not the case anymore. Here are three predictions for the week four matchup.

1. Fletcher Cox gets two sacks

The Eagles’ defensive line was dominant against the Commanders. They will need to keep the pressure mounting on Sunday against Trevor Lawrence. Fletcher Cox has had an exceptional start to the season early on. Once the guys up front get going it’s hard to stop them. The defense is playing on another level right now and expect them to try and build off their previous two performances.

2. Quez Watkins records a 70+ yard touchdown

Quez already has one long touchdown to his name this year, so let’s add another. With so much attention going to DeVonta, A.J., and Dallas, it may be easy to forget about the speedy wide receiver Watkins. Watkins has game-changing speed and if he gets behind the secondary, good luck. This game could potentially be a shootout so keep an eye on Quez.

3. Eagles win a close offensive battle 35-33.

The Eagles defense has been playing great but this game has the potential to have a lot of offense. In this game, the Eagles’ offense picks up the defense to carry the team to a win. Hurts has another stellar game and only adds to his MVP campaign. The Birds stay hot and get ready for a trip out west to Arizona.
