Following the Eagles’ largest fourth-quarter comeback since the Miracle at the Meadowlands, the Eagles now will host Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night. The Packers are coming off a Thursday night loss to the Titans and need a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Eagles on the other hand are looking to create more separation as the number one seed. The game should be good and here are three predictions.
#1: A.J. Brown goes for 100 yards and a touchdown.
Brown should be shadowed a lot by standout corner Jaire Alexander for most of the game. Brown has put up two subpar weeks compared to his numbers the rest of the season so expect a get-right game this week. The Eagles’ passing game was not clicking against the Colts and they had to use Jalen Hurts legs to escape with the win. A.J. Brown is too good of a receiver to be shut down again. Expect a big performance from number 11.
#2: Chauncey Gardner-Johnson records his seventh interception.
Johnson has been more than what the Eagles bargained for so far this season. The ball-hawking safety was acquired for virtually nothing and has been a huge piece to the Eagles’ success this year. He has been around the ball all season long and has made big plays for the team in every game. Aaron Rodgers has not looked like himself this year. You can still never doubt Rodgers, but I think Johnson comes away with a big interception in this game.
#3: Eagles win a tight game 23-21
This game isn’t going to be a walkthrough. The Packers have not been good this year but they still have Aaron Rodgers under center. We just saw him walk into Dallas two weeks ago and win a huge game against another NFC powerhouse. This game should be close throughout the entirety, but the Eagles showed last week they can overcome adversity after getting hit in the mouth. This would be a huge win against one of the all-time great quarterbacks.
