The Eagles are the best team in the league with a record of 11-1. Although their record doesn’t show it, they have been missing some of the key players that went down due to injury a couple weeks ago. Their key players are getting healthy and it couldn’t have came at a more perfect time.

Jordan Davis was able to come back and play some limited snaps last week against the Titans. It seems like the coaches are going to ease him back in. In his first game back from IR, he only played six snaps (11%). The Eagles D-Line depth is very deep, especially along the inside part of the line, so there is no need to rush him back and risk another injury. Jordan Davis will probably see a bigger share of the snaps against the run-heavy Giants.

Maddox has been on IR since week 8 when he got hurt in the win over the Texans. He is one of the best slot corners in the league, and it will show when the Eagles secondary becomes even better when hes back. Teams haven’t been destroying the Eagles with their passing attacks, but it is clear that they were picking on Josiah Scott more than anyone else. Maddox likely will be activated and playing tomorrow in the Giants game.

The Eagles offense has been explosive the past two games, but it is still evident that they are missing Goedert. Their backup tight ends have been committing some penalties that have set drives back. Dallas Goedert could come back as early as next week (week 15).

The young safety has been a huge boost for the Eagles secondary. The league leader in interceptions got hurt a few weeks ago and the secondary has been playing well since. The ball-hawk will be eligible to return week 17, but if the Eagles aren’t playing their starters then I’d expect they’d allow him to get some extra rest before the playoff run.

The Eagles are the best team in the NFL and they’re going to get even better heading into the playoff run.
