The NFL playoffs kick off this Saturday and the Eagles will be spending the weekend scouting and preparing their bodies for a divisional-round matchup. With the Eagles as the number one seed in the NFC, they will play the lowest remaining seed after the weekend. This piece will predict the outcome of all three NFC playoff games this weekend and who the Eagles could be in store to face.

Game #1- Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers come into this game as massive favorites. They are on a 10-game win streak and they possess the best defense in the league. After injuries to Trey Lance and Jimmy Garopollo, the Niners inserted Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy into the starting position and he has done his part. The Seahawks barely snuck into the playoffs thanks to a Green Bay Packers collapse Sunday night. The 49ers have won both contests so far this season by scores of 27-7 and 21-13. Could the third time be the charm for the Seahawks? Probably not, but this game should be closer than people expect. Division games are always challenging and the 49ers are starting a rookie seventh-round pick at quarterback. The Seahawks could put up an interesting fight, but the 49ers should find a way to win.

Score prediction: Seahawks 13 49ers 17

Game #2- New York Giants at Minnesota Vikings

These two teams just met in week 16 on Christmas Eve in a very close game that saw the Vikings squeak by with a 27-24 victory. Now they meet again on Wild Card Weekend. Minnesota comes into this game only as three-point favorites. After a 6-1 start the Giants started to sputter, but they looked to have once again found their rhythm. They rested their starters in week 18 against the Eagles, but before that, they looked to be back to playing good football. The Vikings might be favored in this game, but the Giants have all the pieces to pull off the upset and get their revenge. The game will be close, but the Giants should be able to come away with their revenge.

Score prediction: Giants 27 Vikings 21

Game #3- Dallas Cowboys at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The final game of Wild Card Weekend could arguably be the most intriguing. There are a lot of storylines in this game. Does Brady stay undefeated against the Cowboys? Do the Cowboys collapse in the playoffs again? Dak Prescott versus Brady is a great way to wrap up the weekend. The Buccaneers get to host a playoff game even after finishing 8-9. The Cowboys come in at 12-5 but are coming off an ugly loss to the Commanders. On paper, the Cowboys have a far superior roster. The Cowboys’ talent heavily outweighs the Buccaneers, but the Buccaneers still have Brady. You can’t pick against Brady in the playoffs.

Score prediction: Cowboys 24 Buccaneers 28

Eagles projected Divisional Round opponent: Giants

If these predictions do hold true (they definitely won’t) the Eagles will be hosting the Giants for their third matchup of the season. One thing will definitely be for certain, this game will not be like the other two. The Eagles will definitely be favored in the game, but it will be a tough hard-fought game. The Linc is always rocking especially during the playoffs, now you add in a divisional rival, the place is going to be electric. Jalen Hurts will go for his first playoff victory along with Nick Sirianni against one of their biggest rivals.
