The Eagles are set to host the Giants in the divisional round of the playoffs. The Eagles are currently sitting at 7.5 point favorites. So far this season, The Birds are 2-0 against the Giants. In those two games, they have outscored the Giants 60-28, and in the second game The Eagles were barely trying. The Giants have been getting healthy, but the Eagles should still have confidence that they will complete the 3Peat.
The Birds will be starting the game with 22/23 week 1 starters. The only player they’re missing is Avonte Maddox, and it looks like CJGJ will be moving to the slot to take his spot in this matchup. Jalen Hurts has looked good at practice and his shoulder should be feeling a lot better since the last time they played. Lane Johnson has been ramping things up this past week, and he was a full participant at practice yesterday. It feels good knowing the Eagles will have their top guys out there in front of their home crowd.
The Giants are getting healthy as well. They just added Adoree Jackson back to their lineup who’s back from a back injury. On their final injury report for the week, only one player was on it: Azeez Ojulari, who was limited with a quad. They will be healthier than both of the first two times the played Philly, so it will be tougher out there.
The Eagles understand this will be a tough game because the Giants are division rivals. The Birds are not the type of team to underestimate anyone, so they will be prepared for the Giants. The Birds understand how much this means to all their fans and to everyone that has supported them this season. This feels like the end of a great 2022 story for the Giants. They exceeded everyone’s expectations, and everyone can honestly say they are in a great position moving forward. Good for them making it this far. I believe this is going to be a great game from the eagles, and at the end they’ll be moving on to the NFC Championship!
