I decided to keep the title as straightforward as possible.
Because, come on now, do we really think they have a chance?
I see a bunch of “sports analyses” saying that the game will be close, but I just don’t see it. Perhaps they are trying to look professional?
I’m a biased Eagles fan, so that they could be right.
Here are some reasons why I think we will be making NFL fans question whether or not the New England Patriots should be relegated on Sunday…
Patriots Offense vs. Eagles Defense
Mac Jones, Rhamondre Stevenson, Zeke, DeVante Parker, Juju (lame), Hunter Henry, Gesicki…
Ok, ok, you get the picture.
Does this sound like an offense that can outplay ours? Absolutely not.
Firstly, Rhamondre is an absolute dawg, and I have high hopes for him in fantasy this year. However, let’s bring our defense into perspective. We have remarkably the best D-line in the league. We lost Hargrave but replaced him with the best prospect in the draft (aka Jalen Carter). We also added Nolan Smith.
Our pass rush is insane, and I don’t see how they will be able to destroy us on the ground with it. Also, Mac Jones is going to be getting pressured very quickly every play. They have a decent O-line, but can they really hold up against the best unit in the league? No.
Mac isn’t all that; we know this. They have decent receivers but nothing special.
Now, if they bring up the one and only Jalen Reagor, I’d start to worry.
The only problem that could be presented is their tight ends. They have some good ones in Henry and Gesicki.
And with our linebacker core in sort of a “Who Knows” phase, maybe they could make us pay there…
I also forgot to bring up our star-studded secondary. Fellas, our chemistry is on point. I don’t see how their offense could score more than 20 points in this game…
Eagles Offense
Before I get started, they have a solid defense. Matt Judon is a great pass rusher and one of the better players in that position in the league.
But we also have one of the top offensive lines, so I don’t see how much of a factor he would play.
Remember when I said that I didn’t see them scoring more than 20?
Well, they would need to if they wanted to keep up.
We have a top 5 wide receiver core in the league led by AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith. We also have a stacked RB room, which will allow us to play at our own pace.
Jalen Hurts is literally one of the best in the league, and we have him at our disposal. With the chemistry that we have together, we are a force to be reckoned with.
The Deflatriots may have a solid defense but won’t be able to contain our superstar-studded offense.
In Conclusion
The spread is only set at -4 in our favor, and we will easily cover it.
31-13 for our Birds
FOOTBALL IS BACK, BABY LET’S GO!!!
