The amount of stress that the Eagles are giving us Bird’s fans with this slow start (which is okay) is pretty relentless. We are 2-0 which is fantastic, but I feel like we all have been going through the emotions with the numeral injuries, play calls, and other problems that are making us wonder why we put ourselves on a psychological episode watch every week. The only thing worse than the stress that the past two games inflicted on me is the aftermath of the 30 boneless wings I ate at Buffalo Wild Wings (Shoutout B-Dubs) when I was out with the boys last Thursday, leading to pure warfare and catastrophe in my bathroom…
You know what else had all of us thinking “catastrophe” during that game last Thursday?
During the game, we saw AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts have a little side-line “incident”. It appeared that AJ Brown was pretty frustrated, and of course the keyboard warriors online thought it was about lack of targets. You need to generate them headlines and clicks somehow I guess…

The speculation of it being about the targets was made prominent by AJ receiving 3 targets right after the “incident”, but Brown pretty much summed up that it had nothing to do with it during a media appearance…
“It was a discussion, you know. It is a game that we both love and I want everybody to understand that sometimes emotions run high and that’s kinda what happened too. That doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world. That doesn’t mean that I’m beefing with Jalen. No, and also I want y’all to know, no it was not about targets. I’m sure everybody thought that because he threw me the ball three plays in a row afterwards, but, no I was not over there discussing targets or whatever. Because it was something that happened earlier and we was having a discussion about it and so I know everybody took that out of context but it’s not a big deal. Me and him are still on the same page, we’re still growing, we’re still trying to become great, and get wins most importantly.”
Nonetheless, we will probably never know what that conversation was about.
But lets take a step back. Us Philadelphia Eagles fans always demand the best out of all of our players. We want them to be gritty, on top of their stuff, and put their 100% best effort on the field on every snap. So a little frustration once in a while is fantastic.
I’m happy that this whole situation happened, as it shows that our players, in this case, Swole Batman, just wants to perform and put on for the city.
So for whatever reason why we saw Sirianni trying to calm Brown down…
It doesn’t matter one bit. We are 2-0 and even though we are having a slow start,
Our roster is still one of the top rosters in the NFL and the season has only just begun.
We will get it together…
Go Birds.
p.s. Try out the Mango Habanero wings at B-Dubs. Even though it might suck hours after you eat them…
It’s worth it.
Very Respectfully,
