One of the oldest NFL Franchises is Making A New Sports Milestone.
These Philadelphia birds have a historical milestone to celebrate.
Thanks to a partnership with PDC Machines, the Philadelphia Eagles soared into history on Friday by becoming North America’s first professional sports franchise to deploy a hydrogen refueling station on the south side of Lincoln Financial Field at the Stadium Control Parking Lot and will power its passenger vehicles.
At the ribbon cutting on Friday outside of the Stadium with Governor Josh Shapiro in attendance, the celebration featured a Hyundai Nexo which was the first vehicle to utilize the hydrogen refueling station.
Since 1977, the family business of PDC Machines began with the mission of leading the world’s transition to clean energy. PDC has since that time made a lasting impact in the clean energy sector. PDU has offices in Japan, Germany, and South Korea as well as the Philadelphia suburb of Souderton, also in Eagles country.
Once again the Philadelphia Eagles are looking ahead to the future, both on and off of the field.
