At Every Level He’s Brought Dominance. If Villanova Makes the NCAA Tournament, Watch Out for Eric Dixon.

Some players bring such ability and power to the game, it’s a pleasure to watch them. Like an orchestral performance, a finely tuned symphony. It’s almost as if no other player is on the field or on the court.

Eric Dixon is one of those players.

At Abington Senior High School in Abington, PA, Dixon steered the Ghosts to a 28–2 record. In a PIAA Class 6A District 1 title Game win over Coatesville, Dixon scored 38 points. Being awarded the 2018–19 All-Area boys’ basketball player of the year, scoring 2,454 total points.

Last season at Nova, Eric Dixon averaged 15.4 points per game and on his way to Second Team All-Big East honors.

This year, Dixon is ranked as the #2 player in the country by Chris Drumright’s annual college basketball player rankings.

Eric Dixon is a History Major at Villanova. He’s no doubt aware of the history of Villanova’s greatest big men on the basketball court. Ed Pinkney, Mikal Bridges, Doug West, Tim Thomas, and Howard Porter all helped to put the Villanova Program on the national radar.

If he gets into the NCAA tournament, he might make history himself.
