Matt Bohmer’s Career Will Always Be Remembered at St. Joe’s.
Now, It’s for Another Reason.

It’s not every day that you are chasing the record set by your assistant coach.

But that is precisely what happened to the St. Joe’s Men’s Lacrosse Team this season when Attack Player Matt Bohmer began the game against High Point at the end of March.

Bohmer began the day with 128 goals, surpassing the previous record held by St. Joe’s Assistant Coach Mike Rastivo.

The record was 129 goals.

With less than one minute elapsed in the contest, Bohmer was on the board in the Atlantic 10 matchup. By the end of the game, he had the record — a feat that was accomplished not without some additional competition.

Midfielder Levi Anderson and Attacker Carlos Page are also in the discussion. At one point this season, all three players had scored 30 goals each.

On Saturday, which was Senior Night against St. Bonaventure at Sean Sweeney Field, St. Joe’s won 24–3. April also saw Bohmer win another award, the Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week.

Next week, the regular season concludes with Richmond.
