The Eagles Are Looking for Running Back Depth.
Kendall Milton Is Looking to Make the Team.

The Eagles want competition at all positions.

At running back, they’ve got it.

For an offense that will be under the spotlight for a passing attack with Jalen Hurts, AJ Brown, and DeVonta Smith — it’s the running game that looks wholly revamped. Off-season departures of D’Andre Swift, Rashaad Penny, and Boston Scott have opened opportunities for depth at the position.

The Eagles signed Saquon Barkley as a free agent in the off-season. Last year, they signed Davis-Price from the 49ers Practice Squad. Kenneth Gainwell also returns.

Less than 24 hours after the Eagles drafted Clemson running back Will Shipley, they added Georgia rusher Kendall Milton as an UDFA. Milton is a two-time NCAA National Champion who compiled over 1,800 yards in four seasons at Georgia.

At Buchanan High School, he gained 1,514 yards rushing and 23 touchdowns as a senior. Milton was the number one running back and the seventh-best player overall from the State of California , ranking number 54 in the entire US. ranked Kendall Milton as a five-star recruit and the 29th player in the nation. Becoming a Bulldog was his pick over Alabama, Ohio State, and Texas.

In 2023, Keaton Milton had 156 yards and 2 scores against Georgia Tech. During the 2023 Orange Bowl, Milton rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns and was named the MVP of the game, helping lead Georgia to a 63–3 victory over Florida State.

Kendall Milton will look to impress in rookie and mini camps, as well as Training Camp.

He’ll try to add to a crowded running back room and bring that championship experience and excellence.

He’s already got plenty of that.
