Don’t get too Happy over there in Happy Valley, at least for now.
Right off of the Blue Route on Lancaster Ave. in the Philly suburbs- which has seen two basketball NCAA Championships in the last decade — Villanova Stadium is now home to the 5–1 Wildcats Football Team. If you see this team play this season, you’ll love to see freshman running back David Avit -who, last weekend against Stony Brook, set the Villanova freshman rushing record with 183 yards and four touchdowns.
If you are wondering, that’s enough fantasy points to win your whole week with virtually one player.

Avit — who scored three touchdowns in the second half — shattered the freshmen rushing record set in 1977 of 173 yards. Stoney Brook initially powered to a 24–14 lead deep into the third quarter until the running of Avit, who scored with runs of (59,1, and 72 yards) to win the game 42–24 for #5 ranked Villanova.
The brother of University of Maryland wide receiver Zeke Avit — at Churchill High School in Maryland was a 4A Player of the Year and Montgomery County Player of the Year as well as a two-time All-State Player while amassing a school record 3,841 yards, including another record of 2,487 yards as a senior with 30 touchdowns on the ground.
